If you're in need of a good budget-friendly shopping haul, then everyone knows a trip to B&M is usually the first place you head to.
The discounted retailer has gained a legion of fans for its endless variety of affordable prices across a range of departments, including homeware, electrical, beauty and more.
But what if you could get even cheaper prices the next time you decided to nip into your local B&M to fill up your basket with items you didn't know you needed until you got there?
One savvy shopper took to TikTok to share how you can do just that by simply downloading the high-street chain's official app that is free to install on your phone.
For those of you who are unaware, B&M launched its own official app that comes complete with a barcode scanner that lets shoppers see if the item is cheaper than they are advertised at.
Taking to their official account (@ thebargainshopper ), the savvy B&M fan shared how she managed to pick up items for less in a video titled: "Half Price Using My B&M Scanner."
The quick 20 second video clip shows the bargain hunter purchasing trendy homeware items from some of the retailer's stylish collections, including the rustic Homestead and the simple Natural Sanctuary.
Using the scanner, she shares how she purchased items such as a £5 Wooden Lantern for just £2.50, a £6 Rattan Tray for just £3 and a £6 Fern in Wicker Pot for just £3.
The video sharing the savvy hack has racked up over 26k likes and hundreds of comments from thankful shoppers who said they would be using the scanner on their next B&M trip.
"I’ve just downloaded it, thank you for sharing this little hack", said one shopper.
"What is this witch craft. How do I do this", exclaimed a shocked second.
"What’s the app called please just b&m? Thank you for tip", asked a third impressed shopper.
"Need to download this asap", replied a fourth enthusiastically.
"The scanner is a game changer. So many things I’ve deliberated getting before because of the price before I knew about it", raved a fifth excited shopper.
Another helpful shopper wrote in the comments that the best way to find cheaper items in-store is to open each category on the app, select low to high, find what you like and look for it in store.
The B&M app is free to download from Google Play and The App Store. You don't need to create an account to use the scanner which is readily available as soon as your download is complete.
