Footgolf is free to play in Kilmarnock this weekend at the town's Caprington Community Golf Club.
Ayrshire Footgolf Club is hosting an Open Day this Sunday, March 5, which will see new and experienced players taking to the fairways.
The hybrid sport sees players kicking footballs around a golf course with 52inch cups, trying to complete the 18-hole course in as few shots as possible.
This weekend's event, which kicks off around 11am, is called The Ayrshire Cup and sees all kids and new players being able to play 18 holes for free.
Players also have the option of paying £10 for an extra 18 holes if they wish, with every penny of the entry fee going into a prize pot.
The best newcomer on the day will also receive free entry to The Ayrshire Open, a tournament being held at the course in July.
On Sunday, players have to take their own ball, the same size they would use to play football, and the dress code is trainers only, no football boots allowed.
Captain John Grant said: "We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Caprington for our Ayrshire Cup Open Day.
"It should be a great day for both beginners and experienced players.
"We are looking to get players of all ages and experienced players involved and hopefully they can find a new hobby.
"It's a great sport to play and isn't too tiring as you walk round the course and don't have to run.
"It's also a chance for the new players to test themselves against some Scotland internationals and future World Cup stars.
"Male or female, young or old, old or new, everyone is welcome, come along and see how you get on."
Anyone wishing to play should contact the club on Facebook or Twitter.
