An Ayr superfan hopes his latest piece of artwork can hit the target and prove a winner for club funds.
Honest Man Richard MacDonald has unveiled the striking homage to top gun Dipo Akinyemi.
Richard, an art teacher to trade, is no stranger to iconic Ayr images having brought to life famous moments featuring John 'Yogi' Hughes and Andy Walker.
Now he's hoping the Akinyemi art can inspire a stampede from supporters looking to win the work for their wall.
Richard, 44, told the Ayrshire Post: "As a lifetime Ayr fan it's ideal to combine my love of the club with my passion for art.
"I like drawing all kinds of sporting moments and have done everything from golfers to international footballers.
"Scott McTominay recently liked one of my paintings which I'd posted of him on Instagram, which was pretty cool, as I just do these things for a hobby, really.
"With kids now I don't have an art room - I've been shoved into the garage!
"My Dipo piece took me around 20-25 hours and was based off one of the photographs taken by Alan Graham earlier in the season.
"I'd spoken to Alan Murray (club director) and said the club could use the painting whichever way they wanted to try and raise some money.
"So instead of auctioning it off at a club event, we decided to go for holding a raffle in aid of the AU Player Fund.
"Hopefully it attracts a fair bit of interest and raises a nice wee sum of money. That would be brilliant."
Akinyemi added: "I got such a shock when I walked into the office one day and saw it sitting there. I've never had someone paint me in my life, so it's a pretty cool thing.
"I wouldn't mind it for my own house!"
Tickets to enter the raffle - which will be drawn on Saturday, April 29 - can be purchased in the United Club Shop for £10.
