Josh Mullin has told how a Friday night in front of his telly sold him on a move to Championship pacesetters Ayr United.
The winger, who has dropped down from the Premiership on loan from Livingston, reckons he can reignite his career at Somerset.
And the man who was nicknamed 'The Postman' at the Tony Macaroni insists he's ready to keep delivering for The Honest Men.
Mullin told the Ayrshire Post: "I'm in the last year of my contract at Livingston and could easily have stayed and got ten minutes here or there in games.
"But I'm an honest hard working boy and for me it's about playing. I'm at the stage of my career where I feel I'm reaching my peak and I want to be out there contributing.
"Ayr are a club who are definitely on the up and for so many reasons this move just seemed a no brainer to me."
Mullin, 29, comes to United boasting Premier League experience at the likes of Livi and Ross County.
And he admits his eye was more than drawn by their performance in front of the BBC cameras on Friday night.
He said: "It was a massive factor for me, seeing the way the team plays and what they try to do in and out of possession.
"Big Dipo (Akinyemi) up front is a dream for a winger like me who wants to put balls in the box and hopefully we can strike up a good relationship and help everyone around us.
"As soon as I signed, I got a text from Brian Graham at Partick who said the big man up front is going to love you.
"I've played with Brian so he knows my game, and hopefully things work out like everyone is expecting it to in that regard.
"But the boys are flying just now so I know I'll have to be patient. And when I do get my chance I have to take it and create those chances for him."
Mullin added: "Somerset is also a great place to play your football - an old fashioned stadium with a great atmosphere when the fans are in.
"Nicky Devlin was obviously a teammate at Livi and I was able to ask him about the club and he said nothing but good things.
"He said that when he was here it was part-time but that he absolutely loved it, so if he's singing the club's praises back then, you have to think things have only improved in a full time setup."
