Ayr United fans soar past £200,000 total as they boost club's transfer Player Fund

Ayr United fans have celebrated a special milestone in their backing of the club.

The AU Player Fund – set up in 2016 to help boost the Somerset transfer kitty – has now raised £200,000.

The whopping sum has made a number of deals possible down the years, with Fund chiefs now hoping to grow their reach even further.
