In a recent turn of events, comedian Ayo Edebiri found herself in an interesting situation as she hosted Saturday Night Live (SNL) while Jennifer Lopez served as the musical guest. What made this encounter rather awkward was the resurfacing of Ayo's podcast appearance from 2020, in which she made comments referring to Jennifer's music career as 'one long scam.'
On the Scam Goddess podcast, Ayo candidly shared her thoughts on Jennifer Lopez's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, stating, 'Her whole career is one long scam.' She also addressed the allegations around J.Lo's vocals, highlighting that some write-ups suggested she didn't always sing on her tracks. These remarks seemed to have come back into the spotlight as Ayo faced an interesting dynamic working alongside Jennifer on SNL.
