Shoppers were forced to flee for their lives in horrific scenes as a man wielding an axe went on a rampage in a Lidl supermarket in France.
Three people were injured in the terrifying attack while the axeman ended the rampage by turning the weapon on himself at the store in the northern town of Jeumont on the Belgian border.
Witnesses reported seeing blood covering the floor of the supermarket with many needing psychological help in the wake of the traumatic event.
