According to Benzinga Pro data Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE:AXTA) posted a 23.41% decrease in earnings from Q4. Sales, however, increased by 3.24% over the previous quarter to $1.17 billion. Despite the increase in sales this quarter, the decrease in earnings may suggest Axalta Coating Systems is not utilizing their capital as effectively as possible. Axalta Coating Systems reached earnings of $53.40 million and sales of $1.14 billion in Q4.
