An award-winning restaurant has announced it will run a series of summer Union Canal Sunday afternoon tea cruises, including departures from West Lothian.
Edinburgh-based Prahna Indian Grill which specialises in a range of Scottish-infused Indian dishes, piloted two canal outings on 28 May and 11 June when customers boarded a specially commissioned dining barge in Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge.
For the next two hours the guests were treated to a classic ‘Afternoon Chai’ which included barbecue chicken sliders, chocolate fudge cake and a glass of prosecco while travelling along the Union Canal to the city’s Slateford Aqueduct and back.
