The aviation maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) business chaired by lead singer of rock group Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson, has been boosted with a contract win with airline Ryanair.
Under the winter deal, Ryanair will undertake two lines of heavy maintenance at Caerdav’s MRO facility at the Cardiff Airport aerospace enterprise zone in St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Withy Ryanair’s fleet expected to expand to over 600 aircraft over the coming years, the Dublin based airline said the agreement provides flexibility as to where it places its aircraft for the upcoming winter maintenance season.
