Average price tag on a UK home jumps by nearly £10,000 as market rebounds after Budget

Rightmove Hamptons Britain Jenrick

The average price tag on a home jumped by 2.8 per cent or nearly £10,000 in January, marking the biggest increase since June 2015, according to a property website.

Rightmove said the £9,893 average asking price increase is the biggest for the month of January in its 25 years of house price studies.
