Average London home prices dropped by more than £11k in January

The fall in the London property market gathered pace in January as average prices dropped by more than £11,000, figures released on Tuesday have revealed.

According to data from Britain’s biggest mortgage lender Halifax the average cost of a home in London dropped by £11,073 from £541,472 to £530,396 in January compared with December.
