London asking rents hit new record high but they are rising at a slower pace in 2024

The average monthly rent being asked in London reached a record £2,631 pcm in the final quarter of 2023, according to new data.

In its latest rental index Rightmove said agents are receiving 11 inquiries typically per available rental property.
