Authors donate royalties to Sally Rooney after books taken off shelves in UK

CHILDREN’S laureates for both Ireland and Wales have announced they are donating their royalties to fiction author Sally Rooney in a "show of solidarity".

Rooney’s publisher Faber & Faber said this month that it had agreed with the author to no longer supply her work in the UK following UK anti-terror legislation that left it unable to pass on earnings from sales of her work.
