Australian Federal Police to lead global summit

A fortnight after Australia missed out on hosting a United Nations climate summit, it has won another leadership role and will chair the global summit of police next year, for the first time.

The Australian Federal Police will host the UN's Chief of Police Summit (UNCOPS) in New York, which brings together national police forces and officials from across the world every two years.
