Wallabies lock Darcy Swain was sin binned in the Bledisloe Cup on Thursday after a clearout on Quinn Tupaea which appeared as if he targeted the left leg of the All Black.
Replacement Tupaea was jackling at a ruck when Australian second-row Swain flew in with a clearout, and appeared to make heavy contact with the left leg of the Kiwi centre.
Welshman Ben Whitehouse was TMO for the game and pointed out that Swain had targeted the left leg of Tupaea. After a few replays the referee made his decision to hand out a yellow to the towering lock.

However, viewers took to social media to express their views on the controversial decision.
Former England man Andy Goode wrote: "Great call from Ben Whitehouse the TMO on calling out the clear out by Darcy Swain targeting the leg/knee of Quinn Tupaea who’s now hobbled off injured. Should have been a red card not a yellow though.
He then posted the video clip of the incident, adding: "Here’s the woeful clearout from Darcy Swain targeting the knee/lower leg of Quinn Tupaea. Shocking and a red card all day long."
The Wallabies would go on to play the match with 13 men for the following 10 minutes, after Tom Wright's dismissal just a few moments before.
