Australia, India can accelerate global clean energy transition, says diplomat

Renewable Energy Australia India Philip Green Supply chain Emissions Net Zero

New Delhi: Australia and India can accelerate the global energy transition to clean energy by combining Australian engineering innovation and critical mineral resources with Indian manufacturing strength, an Australian diplomat said on Thursday.

Both countries can also strengthen supply chains, expand clean energy deployment and support a more secure and sustainable energy future, Australia's High Commissioner to India Philip Green said while addressing the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026 The Battery Show India in Greater Noida near here.
