Australia gear up for pink-ball Test against India in Adelaide

NEW DELHI: The Australian cricket team is preparing for the highly anticipated pink-ball Test match against India in Adelaide, which is scheduled to start on Friday as part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Border-Gavaskar Trophy

All of the Australian Test team's well-known players were spotted working hard in the lead-up to the game. Travis Head concentrated on defensive drills, while Steve Smith, who is going through a difficult time at bat right now, will look to regain his form.

With the pink ball in hand, Mitchell Starc was seen poised to contribute to the forthcoming game.

The team's actions indicate that they are prepared to take on a strong Indian team in this important Test.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) highlighted the team's intensive preparations, posting on X:

India defeated Australia by 295 runs in Perth in the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, overcoming a series thumping at home against New Zealand, despite being bowled out for just 150 runs in the opening innings.
