Australia and EU on the brink of a free trade deal

Australia and the European Union are on the verge of finally striking a free trade deal after a decade of tough negotiations.

Sources told AAP the agreement was all but finalised, with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expected to travel to Australia within a week to seal the deal.
