Clint Howard would "be the first to sign up" to Austin Powers 4.
Mike Myers revived Dr. Evil for a new Verizon commercial earlier this week, and he said "yes" when asked on Trevor Noah's World Cup Watch Party if a fourth film in the spy spoof franchise is ever going to happen.
Howard, who played a radar operator in all three movies so far, told The Hollywood Reporter that he's definitely interested in returning.
He said: “I heard that when Verne passed away, Mike said he would never do another Austin Powers movie without Verne [Troyer, who played Mini-Me and died in 2018].
“Maybe time heals that wound... Certainly, if they need a guy to say, ‘It looks like a giant…’ I’ll be the first to sign up.
"What we’ve got to do is cosmically plant a bug in Mike’s ear.”
Howard played a radar operated who alerted his team to Dr. Evil's phallic spaceship.
He added: "I would step up and show up immediately.
"The first Austin Powers was just this little comedy, but I had a great time. I get asked about Austin Powers all the time at pop conventions.”
And Michael York, who played British Intelligence chief Basil Exposition in all three Austin Powers films, is also hoping for a fourth movie.
He said: “I hear about that all the time. And I hope it’s true because that [franchise] really works.
"Nobody knew at the beginning it would, but [Myers] did — and not once, but three times.”
The franchise launched in 1997 with Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, followed by 1999's Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and 2002's Austin Powers in Goldmember.
Back in 2024, Myers was asked about a fourth film by Entertainment Tonight, and teased he could "neither confirm nor deny the existence or non-existence of such a project".
But, asked if there were more stories to be told in the franchise, he added: "Absolutely!"
Back in 2019, Myers - who is reprising his role as Shrek in a fifth film coming in 2027 - hinted at a potential plot for a fourth movie.
He told ET: "It's likely to be from Dr. Evil's point of view. But again I can neither confirm nor deny such existence. That's all I'm going to say."
