Austin Made Jalapeno Ranch Dressing Sold Since April Is Recalled Because Eggs Never Appeared on the Label

A jalapeno ranch dressing made in Austin and sold on Texas grocery shelves for nearly five months has been recalled because it contains eggs that were never listed on the label. Jaime's Foods ATX pulled six lots of Jaime's Spanish Village Jalapeno Ranch after a Food and Drug Administration inspection of the bottling facility turned up the omission, according to the recall notice posted by the FDA. The company issued its announcement on August 25 and the agency published it the following day.

The product went out to Central Market retail stores across Texas and to independent retailers in Austin starting April 3, 2026. It comes in 16-ounce glass jars with UPC 199284564923. The recalled lot numbers are 69, 86, 108, 113, 116, and 121, stamped on the bottom of the jar. No illnesses have been reported.
