Aussies set for big year on World Surf League top tour

Australia is set for a big presence in and out of the water in this year's World Surf League with eight men making the cut to compete on the Championship Tour - up two on 2025.

The fields for this year's top-tier tour, in its 50th year, were finalised after the Challenger Series wrapped up in Newcastle on the weekend, with 13 Australians set to compete.
