Aussie paddlers win more gold at world championships

World Championships Gold Tom Green Australia Curtis McGrath Poland

Tom Green has helped Australia cap a medal-laden week at the canoe sprint world championships in Poland, winning the men's K1 500m final.

Green won gold in the K2 1000m at the Tokyo Olympics then bronze in the K2 500m at Paris 2024.

The 27-year-old completed his landmark victory in the K1 500m on the final day of the world championships in Poznan, having finished third in the K1 1000m final.
