Audi set to call off WEC and IMSA return after pausing LMDh project

A programme that would have allowed the winner of 13 Le Mans 24 Hours crowns to compete in both the World Endurance Championship and the IMSA SportsCar Championship appears to have been cancelled, Autosport understands. 

But a spokesman for Audi Sport has only admitted that development of the hybrid prototype, which shares its chassis and full running gear with the sister marque Porsche LMDh, has been paused.
