An Audi flipped onto its roof after a two-car smash near Old Trafford on Thursday afternoon (April 28). The crash happened on Wharfside Way, close to the football stadium, shortly before 5pm.
Pictures from the scene show a black Audi had completely flipped onto its roof on the pavement beside the road, with emergency services, including police and paramedics, rushing to the scene. Traffic was temporarily held up, with congestion building up on the eastbound side of the road, towards Old Trafford stadium.
The North West Ambulance Service confirmed that luckily, an Incident Response Unit had been driving past prior to the incident and was able to stop at the scene. However, there were no serious injuries and nobody was conveyed to hospital.
