Audi driver followed BMW and 'deliberately rammed' it - before car was found burnt out ten miles away

An Audi driver ‘deliberately rammed’ into a BMW before the vehicle was later found burnt out some ten miles away.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a dark blue BMW X5 and a black Audi outside Warrington bus station on Horsemarket Street, Warrington, shortly after 2pm on Thursday (May 4).

The Audi drove away from the scene, with the vehicle later discovered burnt out at the side of a canal on Warrington Road in Leigh, near Butts Bridge. There was no-one present in the car, GMP reported at the time.
