Pupils from Auchencairn Primary have completed a series of lessons on bike maintenance and cycling skills.
This culminated in a cycle from the school to Balcary beach and back by pupils from P3-P6.
Primary six pupils all completed the level one Bikeability course and P7 pupils all successfully completed both levels one and two.
All pupils had a great time taking part in the cycle run, cycling skills lessons and learning how to maintain a safe and road worthy bike.
Pupils also received new helmets, lights, bells and high viz resources.
Many thanks to James and Denis who took the lessons and to parents who transported bikes to and from school and joined in the cycle run.
