Pupils at Auchencairn Primary celebrated harvest and the end of term with a special assembly.
Families, staff from Landmarc and members of the Rotary came to school to watch, take part in the celebrations and bring food which will be donated to a local foodbank.
Everyone was delighted when Jackie Clarke and members of her staff from Landmarc presented pupils with a fantastic £500 cheque.
This very generous gift was very much appreciated by staff, pupils and parents.
P1-3 had drawn beautiful pictures representing harvest, P6 and P7 explained how harvest is marked around the world and how important a good crop is, while P4-7 shared some facts from the fact file they created about their recent topic, oceans.
Special thanks to Jackie Clarke and Landmarc for making this harvest so memorable.
