Auburn Student Makes Incredible Court-Length Putt to Win Car

View the original article to see embedded media.

Auburn student Craig Noyes, a writer for the university’s student-run site The Auburn Plainsman, had himself a historic Saturday courtesy of a sweepstakes game that required him to make an 94-foot-putt to win a car.

Noyes stepped up in front of a sold-out arena during a second half media timeout of Auburn’s 77–69 loss to No. 3 Alabama on Saturday afternoon and sunk an 84-foot full court-length putt to win a new car.

Per Justin Ferguson of the Auburn Observer, it is the first time since 2014 that a student made the putt to win the car.

Here are a few clips of the incredible putt that led to a very memorable day for Noyes.

Of course, the game ended in a difficult loss for the Tigers, who now sit at 7–5 in conference play. But at least there was one student who didn’t leave Auburn Arena without a win of sorts.
