Netflix have released the first trailer and confirmed the release date for Attack on Wembley - a documentary about crowd disorder at the Euro 2020 final.
The game, which was played on July 11, 2021, was the first major final for an England men’s team since the 1966 World Cup but soon descended into chaos as drunk and ticketless fans stormed the ground.
Netflix said the show will include “compelling first-hand testimony” about “a day that began with Euphoria and ended in a nation left reeling.”England went on to lose the game to Italy on penalties after extra-time.
