Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton confirms she’s joined Real Housewives of Cheshire cast

Pregnant Natasha Hamilton has confirmed she’s joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

The Atomic Kitten star, 40, announced the news on Friday’s This Morning after she had been pictured filming with the stars of the ITVBe series.

Joining hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond, the Liverpudlian discussed becoming a cast member ahead of the new series launch later this month.

The music star joins the glamorous line-up returning for series 16, including Seema Malhotra, Hanna Kinsella, Rachel Lugo, Lystra Adams, Sheena Lynch, Lauren Simon and Nicole Sealey.

Friend of the housewives Katie Alex, new girl Paige Chohan and beloved alum Tanya Bardsley will also appear in the upcoming installment.

Speaking about being the show newbie, Hamilton told Alison Hammond: “I just wanted to go in, take each person as the come and judge them on how they treated me, and see where the relationship goes from there.

“I’ve known Sheena for years and I know Seema, so it wasn’t like I was going in cold. But it was a really interesting evening and there was a lot to take in.”

Hamilton hinted at tensions behind-the-scenes as she said she gets on with “most” of her new co-stars.

She continued: “There was a lot of personalities flying at me, but it’s been quite a few months now and I’m getting to know them and... most of them are lovely.”

The music star also confirmed her appearance on the reality series on Instagram alongside her official RHOC promo shot.

Captioning the post, she wrote: “She’s back b****es…. And this time I’ll be the newest cast member to join @officialrhoch The Real Housewives Of Cheshire!

“It’s been an absolute whirlwind of a year for me - being a new mummy, new girl on the block and new music! 2023 really is giving me the most incredible energy and I’m loving every minute.

“The new series will start on Monday March 20th, 9pm on ITVBE and also on @itvxofficial. So make sure you tune in for all the goss, drama, ups downs and absolute laughs we get up to.

“I can’t wait to continue this incredible adventure and for you guys to come along on what’s turning out to be an incredible year.”

Her new role on RHOC comes a month after she announced she was pregnant with her fifth child, her first with husband Charles Gay.
