Met Éireann is predicting the arrival of a number of "low pressure systems" from the Atlantic making a big impact on the weather in Ireland over the next few weeks.
In its monthly forecast, Met Éireann says "changeable" conditions are on the way around the turn of the month due to "Atlantic low-pressure systems tracking near Ireland."
They say from September 26 to October 2, these systems could disrupt our weather with "conditions rather unsettled in late September and the early days of October."

Temperatures could remain above normal in that time but the national forecaster reckons rainfall amounts will be higher.
Between now and then, the high pressure we've been enjoying is set to decline with more unsettled weather incoming.
"High pressure is expected to decline during the coming week with areas of low pressure moving in from the Atlantic at times bringing more unsettled weather conditions than of late," Met Éireann's forecast for next week read.
"Mean air temperatures are forecast to be slightly above normal during the period as south or southwesterly air-flows prevail. After a dry period of weather, it looks set to turn wetter, with above average rainfall forecast in most areas, especially across the northwest of the country."
That dank weather will continue right into the early days of October and Met Éireann confidence in the forecast beyond the first week of next month is low.
From October 3, they say "current indications suggest the weather will be changeable and rather unsettled. Mean air temperatures are forecast to remain slightly above normal across the country. There is a weak signal for wetter than average conditions."
Average conditions for the time of year could prevail further into mid-October.
Looking a little closer to this weekend, Met Éireann says Saturday night will be "largely dry with some mist or fog developing. It will become cloudier overnight, with a few patches of light rain and drizzle developing in the north and northwest."
They predict "another chilly night with lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees, coldest in Leinster and the midlands, in a light breeze."
Sunday will be quite cloudy over Ulster with patchy light rain and drizzle. Elsewhere will be drier with just isolated showers and occasional sunny spells, the best of those in the east of the country, forecasters have said.
Looking into next week, they say: "High pressure nearby will bring a mostly dry start to next week but gradually turning more unsettled as rain and drizzle begins to spread from the Atlantic towards midweek."
