The Palisades Fire, the largest among the recent wildfires in Southern California, is under investigation by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The ATF Director, Steven Dettelbach, emphasized the need for a thorough and meticulous investigation to determine the cause of the devastating fire.
According to Dettelbach, the ATF's National Response Team is leading the investigation, bringing in a team of experts including chemists, investigators, certified fire and explosive investigators, and forensic specialists. Their approach involves a comprehensive examination of all possible leads to uncover the origin of the Palisades Fire.
