Attempted murder charges dropped against man accused of setting fire to his Wooloowin home with two women inside last year

A Brisbane man accused of trying to kill his wife and mother-in-law shortly after being released from custody over an earlier domestic violence assault has had attempted murder charges against him dropped in court.

It was alleged Curtis Shea Mickan, 36, set fire to his Wooloowin house in May last year, while his wife and her mother were inside.
