At risk under-11s to get their first Covid jabs in Newcastle from next week

At risk five to 11-year-olds in Newcastle will be able to get their Covid vaccine from next week.

Newcastle GP Services - the city's GP federation - has helped jab thousands of people over the past year and has now confirmed clinics for children in high-risk groups will begin from February 9.

The specialist clinics will run at the Newcastle Racecourse vaccine centre.
