
At least three people were killed when a military helicopter serving the African Union (AU) peacekeeping mission in Somalia crashed on Wednesday at the airport in the capital Mogadishu, authorities said.
The helicopter was arriving from Baledogle Airfield in the Lower Shabelle region with eight people on board, of whom three have been confirmed killed, said Artan Mohamed, who heads the immigration office at Aden Abdulle airport.
