Multiple people were injured in a shooting that took place Saturday morning near England’s World Cup base in Kansas City, Missouri, according to The Athletic.
At least nine adults were injured and transported to nearby hospitals following the incident on Troost Avenue.
Police responded to reports of shots fired around 4 a.m. local time.
The extent of the injuries sustained by those involved is currently unclear.
England's players and staff were not present at the time, as they are currently training in Florida.
