Life has been filled with drama for his Coronation Street character David Platt, but actor Jack P Shepherd shared a blissful scene from his home life as he posted on his Instagram. The Corrie favourite, who has played hair stylist David since 2000, shared a glimpse of his gorgeous garden at the home he shares with partner Hanni Treweek and their beloved pet chihuahuas.
He panned the camera around as he served up his breakfast of a croissant and chocolate spread in the tranquil outdoor setting, as their adorable pooches looked on eagerly. The 34-year-old star sported nautical style in a striped top as he soaked up the sunshine surrounded by pretty flower boxes and bright scatter cushions adding a pop of colour on the outdoor seating.
Jack, who hosts the Sofa Cinema Club podcast with co-stars Colson Smith and Ben Price who play Craig Tinker and Nick Tilsley, went public with Hanni in 2017 after Jack split from his childhood sweetheart Lauren Shippey, with whom he has two children, after 15 years together.

Yesterday (Saturday August 27) she floored her followers on Instagram with a brand new glossy brunette look. Hanni shared video of herself transforming from a blonde to dark chocolate tresses, and the compliments came pouring in.
Asked by a follower if Jack liked her new hair, she said: "Jack doesn't have choice. Jack is so lovely. In all seriousness. He's happy if I'm happy and I'm happy if I have happy and healthy hair."
She explained: "I fancied a change. I've been colouring my hair from dark to blonde since I was 16." And Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Windass in the soap, replied to her makeover unveiling with a stream of fire emojis and a love heart-eyes face.
In 2020 Jack shared videos on his Instagram stories to show how the loved-up couple were spending the days in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. It gave fans a glimpse into the pad they'd shared since the previous year featuring an impressive fireplace and wooden flooring.
