Occupying an area of 99,000 square meters within Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), Al-Haramain (two holy mosques) train station stands as the world's largest terminal connected to an airport, an official report said according to the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday.

The airport's station is part of the terminal stations of Al-Haramain express project which also includes Makkah, Al-Madinah, Jeddah and Rabigh King Abdullah Economic City.
