At 47.4 degree Celsius, Uttar Pradesh’s Banda is India’s hottest place

LUCKNOW: As the heat wave conditions intensified, maximum temperature soared to above 47 degrees Celsius in Banda, making it the hottest place in the country on Friday

In Lucknow, maximum temperature rose to 45.1 degrees Celsius, all-time high in the month of April since the records are being maintained by the met department.
