Ezri Konsa: In an interview with Sky Sports, the Aston Villa and England defender is asked if he meant to score with his “shot” on goal. You probably don’t need me to tell you his reply, but I will anyway.
“Yeah, I did … yeah, definitely,” he says, with a laugh. “It’s just one of those things, whether it was a cross or I meant it, it went in so it’s my goal and I’m really pleased.”
