Aston Villa are reportedly open to selling Douglas Luiz in January amid Arsenal’s interest.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Brazilian for some time as Mikel Arteta and Edu attempt to bolster the Gunners’ midfield options ahead of deadline day.

A move previously looked unlikely, with Arsenal thought to be prioritising a loan swoop for Juventus’ Arthur Melo, whilst Villa were keen to keep the former Manchester City man in the West Midlands.
