The assistant who tragically lost his life alongside Igor Kirillov on Tuesday has been identified as Ilya Polikarpov, according to Russian state media TASS. Polikarpov, a devoted father of two children aged eight and nine, was described by his wife Natalya as a 'great patriot' who deeply loved his country.
His involvement in 'humanitarian activities' was highlighted, as he collaborated with TASS and the Russian Heritage foundation to support various initiatives. This included facilitating the transfer of funds and equipment to ensure the safety of Russian military units in combat situations, as reported by TASS.
