Assam artist, Itanagar-based advocate held for defacing public property with anti-dam graffiti

GUWAHATI: The Arunachal Pradesh Police on Sunday evening arrested a graffiti artist from Assam and an Itanagar-based advocate on the charges of defacing public property for a graffiti work with a slogan against building of dams on a memorial wall in Itanagar.

The duo, graffiti artist Nilim Mahanta and advocate Ebo Mili, were sent to two-day police custody by a local court on Monday.
