ASOS has launched a new pop-up website selling clothing with a whopping 90 per cent off.
Fashion fans have been going crazy since the clothing giant launched asossamplesale.com on Tuesday, selling pieces at a fraction of the cost "for a limited time only". While many items are already sold out, it will continue to stock new items in batches, incrementally dropping new merchandise.
Shoppers can get their hands on more than 2,000 men and womenswear products from ASOS-owned brands like ASOS Design, Topshop and ASOS Edition for just £5 a piece, a huge price drop from costs seen on ASOS.com.
Those who want to take advantage of huge bargains will have to take a few steps before hitting the virtual racks. If you have an online account with Asos, you will have to make a new account on the Asos Sample Sale to get in on the action.
Just one day after launching, the site has been praised by online shoppers and for good reason. Asos Sample Sale is stocking thousands of show stopping items, from stunning summer jumpsuits to glam party dresses and plenty of coats to grab ahead of the colder seasons.
Among some of the best bargains include a beautiful blazer and some impressive heels, reports Bristol Live. The site is only open to UK residents and existing ASOS customers will have to create a new account, with a standard £3 delivery charge and £2 return fee.
An ASOS spokesperson said: "The site is only open to UK customers with delivery and fulfilment handled using ASOS’ existing fulfilment infrastructure and capability, including packaging and shipping.
"Visitors will be required to register a new account and cannot use their ASOS details to log in."
As you can imagine, customers who have already used the bargain site have been raving about it on social media. One person tweeted: "People who bought £5 winter jackets at the ASOS sample sale are really on the right side of history."
Another said: "Being a night owl worked wonders for me because I was able to grab 10 bits from the ASOS sample sale last night and now it’s mostly sold out." A third penned: "My sister sent me a Tiktok of the ASOS sample sale and I am convinced she wants me to have no money."
Sharing the news about the site on TikTok, Looks.byrachel said: "Sizes are running out fast, so you need to run."
