ASOS is making a major change to its delivery prices

ASOS is making a major change to how shoppers can qualify for free delivery.

The online retailer has issued an email to shoppers letting them know that its minimum spend to qualify for free delivery will soon increase. The news comes around nine months after the last hike.

The email to customers thanked those with Premier accounts and said ASOS wanted to give them a “heads up” about the upcoming change. ASOS Premier costs customers £11.95 and is valid for a year until it can be renewed again. Within this, you will receive free next day delivery on all items.

However, from February 28, 2023 shoppers will need to spend £15 or more to get free Next Day Delivery as a Premier customer. If you spend less than £15, shoppers will then qualify for free standard delivery instead.

The full email to shoppers read: “Firstly, we just want to say thanks for being a Premier customer. As one of our faves, we want to give you a heads up about an upcoming change to your membership.

“Starting on 28 February 2023, you'll need to spend £15 or more to get free Next Day Delivery. But don't worry – if you do spend less than £15, you’ll still get free Standard Delivery!*

“That said, if you do want to cancel your subscription, we understand – just contact customer care.”

Standard delivery typically costs ASOS shoppers £4.50, while next day delivery is priced at £5.95. ASOS Premier is priced at £11.95 and, until February 28, offers unlimited next day and nominated day delivery on orders over £10. From February 28 this will increase to orders over £15.
