ASOS has brought back the nostalgic brand every girl wore in the 90s

One of the 90s' most nostalgic fashion brands is being stocked on ASOS decades after its high street stores shut down. If you're a 90s baby, you'll definitely have shopped there.

In the 90s Etam and Tammy Girl was a firm staple with shoppers. And when stores shut, it was a devastating blow to many.

Now ASOS is bringing the brand back, and it will give you all the nostalgia. Manchester based, digital fashion giant, Daisy Street announces the re-launch of ‘Tammy Girl’, a British high street chain that officially closed down in 2016. Daisy Street re-launches the Tammy Girl brand in collaboration with global fashion marketplace ASOS.com, with a capsule collection of 32 styles ranging from dresses, crop tops, midi skirts and more.

Continuing inline with the trend-focused Y2K customer, the Tammy Girl launch, an epitome of the early 2000 high street, will serve the fashion conscious Gen Z customer looking to stay on top of the current trend. In addition, the collection will induce sartorial nostalgia within the millennial customer, who once shopped at Tammy Girl in the early 2000’s.

Ranging between £15 and £40, the collection of 00’s inspired fashion draws inspiration from the Y2K era, with ribbed crop tops, layered fishnet vets, babydoll dresses and matching co-ords.

Speaking about the collection, Daisy Street’s Managing Director Tay Singh said, “This is a very exciting move for us at Daisy Street. Over the past 10 years we have worked hard to become one of the leading fashion brands for the Gen Z and Millennial customer. Staying true to our values as a brand, the re-launch of Tammy Girl is an extension of who we are.”

Tammy Girl by Daisy Street went live on ASOS today.
