Streamer Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt has taken another shot at YouTuber and game critic Angry Joe over their disagreement about the female characters in Gears of War: E-Day . Asmongold questioned Joe’s argument that the characters’ looks fit the game’s war setting. He also made personal comments about Joe’s weight during a livestream on October 16, 2026. The dispute began after players debated whether the game’s female soldiers were part of a so-called “woke” trend. Both creators have since shared very different views on character design and realism.
