Twitch and Kick streamer Zack 'Asmongold' says he rejected gambling sponsorship offers worth more than $20 million because he did not want to promote gambling. He made the claim during a livestream on 13 October 2026, while discussing the backlash against Matthew Haag, known online as Nadeshot.
The comments revived a wider debate about gambling sponsorships and the responsibilities of online creators. Asmongold argued that gambling companies offer deals because they expect their promotions to generate enough revenue to justify the cost.
