A Thai woman eats a homemade noodle dish at the kitchen table. When she pans the camera over to capture her white husband’s reaction, the internet suggests he’s being “disrespectful” to her.
In a video with over 3.1 million views, TikTok couple The Evert Family (@the.evertfamily) shows the husband covering his nose with his shirt across the room as he watches TV. He appears disgusted by the smell of the dish, which contains noodles, tomatoes, vegetables, and a savory broth.
